In short

Switchr.be is an information site: we cannot intervene in your contract, in a bill, or in a dispute with a supplier. We are, however, glad to correct any factual error reported on our pages, and we supply our datasets on request.

How to reach us

By email: support@switchr.lu. It is the only channel, and it is read.

By post: WeSave, 229 rue Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris, France. The publisher is a French company; post remains possible but email is considerably faster.

We have no phone number, no form and no customer service desk: the site sells nothing and manages no files. A single channel, staffed by the people who actually write the pages, serves an error report better than a switchboard that would pass it along.

Reporting an error on a page

This is the most useful request you can send us. Give the exact address of the page concerned and, if possible, the source showing the correct information.

A price that has changed, a wrong feature, a supplier that has modified its offer, a Belgian rule we have described badly: all of it interests us. A correction is applied and the page's update date changed accordingly.

We publish no comments and have no discussion space: direct reporting is the site's only correction mechanism, and it works all the better for being precise.

Requesting data

The barometers are published under an open licence. If you are a journalist, researcher or publisher and want a longer history, a full monthly series or a structured format, write to us stating the intended use.

We supply those series free of charge, on the single condition that the source and recording date are credited.

What we cannot do

We cannot cancel, sign or modify a contract on your behalf. We are neither broker nor intermediary and have no access to your files.

We cannot intervene in a dispute with a supplier. Send a written complaint to customer service first, then, if the answer does not satisfy you, refer the matter to the competent ombudsman: the Telecommunications Ombudsman, the Insurance Ombudsman or Ombudsfin. Their services are free for consumers.

We give no personalised advice on insurance, credit, investment or taxation. That kind of recommendation is the province of qualified professionals, and we are not among them.

We provide no quotes and put no one in touch with a supplier: you always sign up directly on the site of your choice.

Commercial enquiries

A supplier can buy neither position, nor review, nor prominence. That rule is not negotiable and it is the site's reason for existing.

Enquiries about an affiliate programme, or about correcting information concerning your brand, are handled like any other: they open no editorial favour.

Frequently asked questions

Can you help me cancel my contract?

No — we have no access to your files and are not mandated to act in your name. Our guides do, however, set out the applicable Belgian procedures, notably Easy Switch for telecoms and the one-month notice period for energy.

I have a dispute with a supplier, what should I do?

Send a written complaint to customer service first and keep a record of it. If the answer does not satisfy you, refer the matter to the ombudsman for the sector concerned: it is independent, referral is free, and it steps in after an attempt at direct resolution.

How long does a reply take?

Error reports are handled as a priority, generally within a few working days. Data requests and general questions may take longer depending on their complexity.

Can I suggest adding a supplier?

Yes. We list suppliers active on the Belgian residential market whose rates are publicly consultable. A player publishing no rates cannot appear in a verifiable reading, however well known it is.
